The chef and waitress laid the table and cleaned up afterwards making the entire experience so pleasant for myself and my guests. “Our group of 8 women were treated to an amazing dinner experience by Chefs of Mykonos. Booking and selecting a menu (with just a few edits) was super easy. Our contact Margarita was extremely responsive, confirmed a few details the day before and just like that, we were ready to go. Our chefs arrived as planned to our villa with groceries in-hand, and proceeded to create a fabulous, multi-course dinner while we relaxed by the pool with drinks. At this point a few marriage proposals may have been offered out of the sheer luxury of it all...and we hadn't even tasted the food!
And the food...I cannot say enough about the amazing food that filled our table - multiple courses of fresh, local food created with care and expertise. It was incredibly delicious, plentiful and beautifully served. Fish and meats were grilled to perfection, vegetables, sides and appetizers were uniquely prepared and delectable. There was so much food that we had enough for a second meal the next day, after Chefs kindly boxed up leftovers and tidied the kitchen.
For anyone wondering, "Was it really that good? Maybe they're just a bunch of Americans used to McDonalds." Some context: we are a group of 45-50ish year-old professional women who have traveled extensively both domestically and internationally and live in and around Washington, D.C. We've been lucky to dine in many highly-rated restaurants at home and in our travels, and while in Mykonos, we had the opportunity to dine at many top rated restaurants during our trip. We agreed unanimously: this was the best meal we had the entire week, and one of our top meals ever.
